Hafren Budies

Here is a picture of Geoff, Pete and Baz after our day of sliding round the fire roads of the Hafren Forest. We had good fun riding round together. Pete and Baz stayed the night in our grey race van (pictured behind). They had a pretty rough night. Me and Geoff drove over from the Shorttrack at Kings Lynn. We loaded up at about 7.15pm in Kings Lynn and got as far as Shrewsbury before we opted for a Travelodge. Sunday morning we were up at 6am and had a very wet and dangerous drive to Llangurig, in all it took us about 3.5 hrs to cross the centre of the country. Lucky the rain stopped at about 10.30am and we dryed out in the bright sunshine. We covered around 120 miles off road and then loaded up for about the same again back to Oxford. Results from the Hafren to follow. As far as results from the shorttrack, I fell in the second heat so I didnt make the final (must try harder). That said I had a great time and cant wait for the next round at scunthorpe. See the flyer on the right hand side of my blog.
Sorry I missed Alan and Andrew I didnt release you guys were there on Sunday until I spoke to swindon Alan on the way home.
