We were up before dawn and it was so cold that it froze the water in my camel back. Gordon turned up sorting his xmas slippers. The tracks were solid for the first couple of hours by lunchtime they were starting to soften. If all the riding I do in 2010 is as good as that first ride it should be a good year.
