Nothing more to say about this today

Gordon Mcpherson we miss you already.

This is from Bob Mullins Enduro news site.

The End of a Legend
Veteran British rider - Gordon Macpherson - has died whilst competing in the Heroes Legend Race to Dakar. The 58 year old from Oxford was found lying next to his bike and there was no evidence of an injury. Gordon is pictured left on his way to a silver medal at this year's WTRA Beacons Rally in August. He enjoyed his life to the very end.
My sincere condolences go out to his family and friends.

I was lucky enough to know Gordon for the past 7 years, he was great fun to be around an is a great loss to all those that knew him. He was mad-keen on his biking and had wanted to to the Dakar for many years. He'll be missed by all those who ever met him as he was one of lifes good guys who was impossible not to like immediately.

He was my grandfather and a great friend. He died doing what he loved and will be sadly missed by everyone who new and loved him. There will be a great hole in the biking community that will be very hard to fill.

As Gordon's family we would like to extend our thanks to everyone who has opened their hearts to us in this dark time. We have no words to express our loss but everyone has been so kind.

Thank you.

I took part in the rally with Gordon on the same team, I knew him for only approx. 11 days. Gordon was a totally genuine and thoroughly nice guy. Every single person on the rally was shocked and saddened when he had gone. He will be missed.
