Hell o ween

The Stags played a Halloween show in Wigan on Friday. It was kinda an un offical end of season party for some of our flattrack buddies.
It was hell on the M6 on Friday afternoon. But is was well worth the trip.

Anyone looking for a winter practice bike. I have a good offer for anyone who knows me. Its a Lifan 100 ideal for throwing about and riding to death over the winter and coming it at £350 each. If you want one I need to know like right away. (Co-Built just got two but there is a limited supply)

Saturday

Make up call.

Mr Murdo and friends have been working hard to prepare for next weekends Halloween show. Its at the Legion in Wigan so I figured I better try out some legions (lesions) of my own. With the help of my make up artist (Anna). Also I would like to thank Co-Builts welsh envoy Guto with his help in our Halloween planning. More will be revealed later!!

Hope to see you there

RYE HOUSE PRACTICE - Saturday 6th November
Probably the last chance this year to have a blast round Rye House - weather permitting!  4 hour practice session, 11am - 3pm.  Final chance to shake your bike down before stripping it over the winter - Or first opportunity to have a go on that new 'investment' you just bought...?
Contact Mike for details, need to have an idea of numbers before booking the track: mike@station165.co.uk or 07890 301587

Nicely Cut

Thanks to our extended Co-Built network of craftsman we have got some good stuff  happening right now. The top picture is of Headstock cups for our  frames. We just took delivery of 3 sets. They represent the 3 frames we intend to build over the next few months ready for next season. One is spoken for the other two are still up for grabs at the moment.

The bottom picture is a set of our yokes that are built to fit CRF450. If you are thinking of upgrading your Hondas with an R6 fork conversion drop us a line as these bad boys will slot staight on and give you a whole load more steering lock and better handling.

We have some other stuff in the pipeline to move things on to the next level so we will keep you posted

Final Round Date is Set

Well done to Jan Willem for organising another great season. Sorry I wont be around for the last meeting of the year!

Sunday

450 KTM Rallye Bike

This is a bit of a scoop for my blog so here goes.
John over at Rally Raid Products is in Morocco right now following the Rally Maroc. Here are some pictures from the paddock of the new 450 rally bikes from KTM.  I love a well prepared rally bike its like an art form, fitting all that equipment to a 450.
The Dakar this year is really going to open up with the 450 rule and these bikes are taking Rally Raid to a new level. Cant wait to watch them in action.

Thursday

Roughing It

Dont tell the Jockeys. They dont like bikes on the Gallops!

A night out a few summers back!

Wednesday

Tomos Power

Its taken a while to find the parts to stop the carb leaking but tonight we took the Tomos out on road test. I didn't get much of a look in as Anna was enjoying the power of the mighty machine. I am not sure if her riding attire will be tolerated by the local constabulary should she be caught.

Tuesday

Ascot

I am a Fan of LA which is not that usual amongst people who visit from the UK. I think people sometimes feel its too big to spread out Blah Blah Blah. Anyway one thing that would improve an LA trip for me would be if Ascot were still running. I would have loved to have visited a Friday night meeting. I wouldnt even have moaned if the freeway was busy!!
Photos are from a Facebook group called 'i could here the roar of Ascot from my house!'

Monday

Power Napping

We had a pretty busy day on Saturday. After a full days racing we stopped of at Speedtherapy Pauls, new house near Northampton for a BBQ (Thanks Paul and Alex). It was really great to get back from riding to feast cooked by someone else.

Drifting in Italy

Looks like fun.....

Early Morning Mitchinson

I got up at 6am this morning to go meet up with my mate John who runs a company called Rally-Raidproducts. John is always busy, he was up and in his barn a 3am this morning building kits for customers before coming down to Oxford to drop parts off to more customers.  Anyway I picked up my two bags of plastic feedstock and was on my way!
If you have a KTM690 or an interest in Rally bikes you should check out Johns site as his equipment is pretty much the best money can buy.
Anyway john told me about this guy who is planning to complete the Dakar on a Bultaco. Good luck my friend. I will be following your progress along with Craig Bounds who is our best hope for UK Dakar sucsess this year.

Monday
